Obituary of Walter G. Dobosz

Trumbull Police Detective Walter G. Dobosz, age 69, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Rosemary Franzese Dobosz, died suddenly on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 surrounded by his loving family and dear friends. Born in Bridgeport on October 7, 1942 he was a son of the late George and Mary Dobosz. A U.S. Army veteran, Walter was a retired detective for the Town of Trumbull Police Department with 35 years of dedicated service. He was a life member and past vice commodore at the Fayerweather Yacht Club. In addition to his beloved wife and high school sweetheart of 44 years, Rosemary, survivors include three loving children, Lori Chisarik and her husband Steve of Corning, NY , Christine Hall and her husband Thomas of Chesterfield, VA, and Michael Dobosz and his wife Collette of Trumbull, a brother, John Dobosz of Trumbull; seven grandchildren, Emily, Kaitlyn and Lauren Chisarik, Tyler and Brendan Hall and Shane and Aislyn Dobosz; mother-in-law, Giglia Franzese of Bridgeport; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joanne and Kevyn Kilgore of Milford; nieces and nephews John and Katherina Dobosz, Kevyn and Kristopher Kilgore as well as many cousins and dear friends. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Saturday December 17, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
