Obituary of Lawrence Paul DiNapoli

Master Sergeant (Retired) U.S. Army Master Sergeant (Retired) Lawrence (Fidget) Paul DiNapoli, age 85, of Washington, D.C., passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the King Health Center in Washington, D.C. Mr. DiNapoli was born in Bridgeport to the late Lorenzo DiNapoli and Emarianziana Onorato DiNapoli. Larry graduated from Central High School and the Warren Institute. For several years, Larry was an employee of Chance Vought Aircraft, Stratford. He served in the United States Coast Guard prior to joining the United States Army where he served our country until his retirement in 1974. Larry loved sports, especially baseball. As a young man, he played second base for the Bridgeport Vagabonds. In his later years, he became an avid golfer and played in many country clubs and casinos around the country. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Larry was pre-deceased by two sisters, Margaret Pellegrino and Anita Onorato and two brothers, Nicholas DiNapoli and Daniel DiNapoli. He is survived by loving nephews and nieces John Pellegrino and Daniel DiNapoli Jr. of Trumbull, Fred Onorato of Florida, Diane Mullen of Monroe and Anita Munoz of Santa Fe, NM. Funeral Information Interment was in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
