Obituary of JoAnn Deninger

JoAnn (Tramontano) Deninger, age 63, of Milford, a homemaker, died on Friday, January 23, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of Joseph J. Merlotti of Bridgeport and the late Elizabeth Hosey Merlotti, and was a former Monroe resident.

She was predeceased by her two husbands, Harry Tramontano and Wilbur Deninger. In addition to her father, survivors include a son, Wilbur (Bill) Deninger and his wife Judy of Milford, a daughter, Louisa Tramontano of Milford, her cherished granddaughter, Elizabeth ( Lizzy) Deninger, a brother John Merlotti and his fiance Sue Kochefko of Stratford, two sisters, Ann Burdo and her fiance David Conroy of Stratford and Sharon Merlotti of Bridgeport, her devoted cousin, Donna Toth of Shelton, who has always been like a sister and aunt to the family, nephews and niece, Jason Burdo, Patrick Burdo lll and Megan Merlotti, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum, Bridgeport. Friends may call Monday 4 - 8 p.m.
