Obituary of Frank A. Delbouno

World War II U. S. Army Sergeant Frank A. Sarge Delbouno, Sr., age 88, of Trumbull, a retired employee of Bassick Casters with 43 years of service, died on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on August 31, 1919, he was a son of the late Martino and Maria Baldino Delbouno and was a U. S. Army Sergeant during World War II. He was the past president of the Union Local at Bassick, an avid golfer and member of many bowling leagues. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Gloria Palazzo Delbouno, four sons, Frank A. Delbouno Jr. of Derby, Larry Schneider and his wife Alice of Ansonia and Wayne Lonsdale and his wife Donna of Ansonia and Martin Delbouno and his wife Diane of Mississippi, one daughter, Mary Eileen Sims of Mississippi, three sisters, Christine Mastronardi of Bridgeport, Lucy Baird of Fairfield and Josephine Spadolino of Stratford, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, John and Michael Delbouno and a sister, Rose Zampedri. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
