Obituary of Josephine Daconto

Resident of Trumbull Josephine Jo Daconto, age 98, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Louis Daconto Sr., died on Friday, July 16, 2010 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in New York, NY on August 5, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Marie Spataro Sedita. Mrs. Daconto was a former employee of the former King Cole and also taught knitting and crocheting at Stern Village, Trumbull for over 25 years. Survivors include three children, Angelo Daconto of Murfreesboro, TN, Louis Daconto Jr. of Torrington and Sally Simna of Trumbull, a sister, Ann Santacroce, 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by two brothers, Frank and James Sedita. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours.
