Obituary of Andrew C. Grabowski
Bridgeport Resident
Andrew C. Grabowski, age 82, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Mary Scrivani Grabowski, died on Saturday, March 10, 2012 in Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on March 19, 1929, he was a son of the late Adam and Aniela Baldyga Grabowski and was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and later retired a steel worker with the United Steel Workers Union.
In addition to his wife Mary of 59 years, survivors include his ten children, Maria Malerba and her husband Bill of Ansonia, Joseph Grabowski and his wife Doris of Oxford, Anthony Grabowski and his wife Jo-Ellen of Monroe, Theresa Cavalli and her husband Tony of Trumbull, Helen Lieto and her husband Joe of West Haven, Christina Migliaro and her husband John of Monroe, Catherine Marrero-Grabowski of Bridgeport, James Grabowski and his wife Rachael of Trumbull, Robert Grabowski and his wife Margie of Trumbull, Gina Paternoster and her husband Corey of Stratford, grandchildren, Michele and Anthony Palumbo, Suzanne and Matthew Macero, Angela Maria Malerba, Stephanie Grabowski, Michael and Teressa Grabowski, Edward Figueroa and his fiance Brittany Turner, Brittany and Carissa Cavalli, Dominic, Jana, and Isabella Migliaro, Andrew and Elizabeth Marrero, James, Anthony and Hannah Grabowski, Noah Grabowski, Sophia, Corey, Briana and Michael Paternoster, great grandchildren, Gino and Elisa Palumbo, Adam and Maya Macero and Samantha Mazza, step grandchildren, Yvonne Cardona, Joseph Lieto, Jay Marrero, Briana and Kayla Giacobbe, a sister, Cecelia Anderson of Fairfield as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. Funeral Information
Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Tpke, Monroe on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery, Monroe. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
