Obituary of Barbara F. Gould

Barbara Flynn Gould of West Haven died on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. She was born in New Haven on March 29, 1930, the daughter of the late Henry A. and Grace Johnston Flynn and was a long time resident of West Haven. Mrs. Gould was a 1947 graduate of St. Marys Academy in New Haven. She received a degree in paralegal studies from Sacred Heart University in 1982. She was a member of the West Haven Historical Society, a former member of the Board of Directors at the West Haven Community House, the Notre Dame Mothers Club and the McAuley Guild of Laurelton Hall.

She is survived by her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Deborah Morgan Gould of Huntington, a daughter, Sherry Keefer of Richmond, VA, two grandsons Ross and Brad and a sister Virginia Boyden of Columbus Ohio.

A Memorial Service celebrating her life will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:30 am until the time of service.
