Loving Wife & Mother Phyllis C. Mazzarella Cuteri age 54, of Easton, beloved wife of Dr. Joseph A. Cuteri, died peacefully on Saturday November 14, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous 15 year battle with breast cancer. Born in Brooklyn, NY, on April 20, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Carolyn Nicoletta Mazzarella. Mrs. Cuteri was a graduate of St. Johns University and earned her Masters Degree in Education from Wagner College. She taught for 12 years in the New York public school system. Phyllis was a loving wife and devoted mother who will be deeply missed. In addition to her loving husband of 29 years, survivors include her two cherished daughters, Carolyn Rose, and Catherine Phyllis, both of Easton, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and dear friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Ann Parente. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of those who helped with her care during their time of need. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday November 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum of the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
