Obituary of Marion Marthes Cuming

Trumbull Resident Marion Marthes Cuming, age 91, of Trumbull, a homemaker, died on Friday, April 6, 2007 at Cambridge Manor. Born in Bridgeport on, July 9, 1915 she was a daughter of the late William and Anna May Wiggin Marthes. Marion was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was a member of the Council of Catholic Women. Mrs. Cuming was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Cuming, a son, William J. Cuming and brother, William J. Marthes. Survivors include a daughter, Marion Giannini and her husband, Henry of Trumbull, four grandchildren, Paul Giannini of Sanatoga, PA, David Giannini of Trumbull, Daniel Cuming of Greenbay, WI and Anna Chaponis and her husband, Matthew of Thomaston, CT , and two great grandsons, Caleb and Lucas Chaponis and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 10 a.m. directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
