Obituary of Raffaela Cristino

Raffaela Fran Mucherino Cristino, age 87, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Joseph Cristino, died on Friday June 8, 2007 in Ludlowe Health Care, Fairfield. Born in Bridgeport on June 23, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Ida Gianettino Mucherino. A former longtime resident of 79 Perth St., Bridgeport, Mrs. Cristino was a devoted parishioner of St. Margaret Shrine where she served on the Alter Guild. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Cristino and his wife Beverly of Cheshire, Al (UF) Cristino and his wife Maureen of Shelton; a daughter, Nannette Cristino of Bridgeport; a sister, Rose Mucherino Cave of Bridgeport; a sister-in-law, Mona Mucherino of NJ; seven grandchildren, Joe and Jason Cristino, Natalie Crowe, Nicole Harmon, Jody Gourley, Kayci and Carl Cristino and four great grandchildren, Larisa, Hadyn, Kerrigan and Naia. She was predeceased by a sister Sandra Caruso and two brothers Dr. Carl Mucherino and Eugene Mucherino, Jr. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 8:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret Shrine / St. Raphael Church, 162 Oak St., Bridgeport, Ct 06604
