Obituary of Lenore Cox

Resident of Bridgeport Lenore (Lillian) Zeffiro Cox, age 88, beloved wife of the late Walter J. Cox, died on Wednesday, September 25, 2008. Born in Bridgeport on July 31, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Luciano and Consalata Perrillie Zeffiro. A lifelong Bridgeport resident, Lillian was a retired employee of Schick Razor. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony and Joseph Zeffiro and a sister, Angie Aurilio. Survivors include two children, Walter J. Cox of Cary, NC, and Cynthia Rappa of South Plymouth MA., a brother, Gabriel Zeffiro of Shelton, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 pm.
