Obituary of LaNell Costantini

LaNell Murray Costantini, age 79, of Bridgeport, a retired supervisor and union steward for Western Union, died on Monday, September 5, 2005 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. Born in Brookhaven, MS on May 9, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Elmer J. and Vivian Shows Murray. A Bridgeport resident for over 50 years, she was an avid bowler. Mrs. Costantini was pre-deceased by her husband, Benjamin E. Costantini.

Survivors include two daughters, LaNell Gensur and her husband, Charles of Bridgeport and Bennie-Jean Recupero and her husband, Edward of Stratford, four grandchildren, LaNell Corso and her husband, Jim, Christopher Gensur and his fiance, Jessica Hamila, Jennifer Mamone and her husband, Christopher, Kimberly Correia and her husband, Anthony and her little darlings, great grandchildren, Holly, Anya and Michael Corso, Justin and Paige Mamone and Anthony Correia, a sister, Joan Bennett of GA, a brother, E. Jack Murray of TX and several nieces and nephews and a very dear friend, Fred Paige.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
