Obituary of Helen A. Conte

Helen Alberico Conte, age 92, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Frank Conte, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 14, 2007. Born in New York City on March 24, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Clementina Fariseo Alberico and was a longtime Bridgeport resident.

Survivors include a son, Anthony J. Conte of Bridgeport; two daughters, Carol Schmidt and her husband Robert of Bridgeport and Evelyn Dudeck of Trumbull; five grandchildren, Robert Schmidt of Bridgeport, Lynn Madar and her husband Robert of Trumbull, Kim Schmidt of Kentucky, Thomas Dudeck of Bridgeport, Paul Dudeck and his wife Carolyn of Cheshire and five great grandchildren, Michelle, Robert, Madison, Mackenzie and Tea-Marie.

Helen was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be sadly missed. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Hospice at Home, especially her aide Nadoni Joy.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:30 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.
