Obituary of Lorenzo V. Ciufo

Beloved Husband, Father & Grandfather Lorenzo V. Ciufo, age 82, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Angelina Larocca Ciufo, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2010 in St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Tufo Minturno, Italy on November 9, 1927, he was the son of the late Mariano and Emilia Ciufo. Mr. Ciufo was a retired Machinist for the Dictaphone Company and an active member of the Circolo Sportivo Club in Bridgeport. In addition to his wife of 57 years, he is survived by his devoted son, Mario Ciufo and his wife Patricia, two cherished grandchildren, Christina and Lawrence Larry Ciufo, all of Huntington, brother-in-law, Michael Larocca and his wife Mary of Easton, sister-in-law Mary Improta of Bridgeport, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Josephine Mazzucco and a brother-in-law Luca Improta. We will always love you and remember the good times we had together as a family. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
