Obituary of Theresa A. Cingari

Theresa A. Cingari, age 75 of Easton, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at her residence with her beloved husband, Russell Cingari Jr., by her side. Born on June 10, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anita Tobia Gagliardi. Aside from being a loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Cingari was very active in her community. She served as a past President of the Fairfield Jr. Womens Club, was an active member of the Easton Home Makers, Ladies Guild of Notre Dame, Gourmet Club, the PLBT Investment Club, and was a Fairfield/Easton Welcome Wagon Hostess. For many years she enjoyed her role as Ms. Terri to the many preschool children that she taught at Curiosity Corner. Theresa was also an avid tennis player and golfer and found great enjoyment during her daily strolls with her husband, Russell, of 56 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Other survivors include her children, Deanna Herlihy and her husband Scott of Fairfield, Michael Cingari and his wife Gretchen of Santa Rosa, CA and Debranne Cingari Cavalier and her husband Ron of Weston. She was a proud Grammie to her four grandchildren, Megan Herlihy, Caitlin Herlihy, Breanna Suden and Madison Suden. She is survived by her brother Anthony Gagliardi of Milford, a sister Carole Costanzo of Trumbull, and nieces Reina Costanzo, Kelly Tarricone and nephew Buddy Gagliardi. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in Notre Dame of Easton Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
