Obituary of Mary Cingari

Resident of Stratford Mary Sorrentino Cingari, age 93, of Stratford, a homemaker, died on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on January 2, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Josephine Marrone Sorrentino. Along with her late husband, she enjoyed fishing on Long Island Sound. She was predeceased by her husband Russell Cingari Sr., three brothers, Anthony, Patsy and John Sorrentino and a sister, Catherine Nemergut. Survivors include a son, Russell Cingari Jr. and his wife Theresa of Easton, two sisters, Margaret Von Stuben and Frances Danberg, both of Stratford, three grandchildren, Deanna Herlihy and her husband Scott, Debbi Cavalier and her husband Ron and Michael Cingari and his wife Gretchen and four great granddaughters, Megan, Caitlian, Breanna and Madison. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Chapel Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends and relatives may call on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
