Obituary of Victoria Chormanski

Bridgeport Resident Victoria Theresa Samsel Chormanski, age 87, of Bridgeport, died on Saturday, June 23, 2007 surrounded by her loving family in Griffin Hospital under Hospice care. Born in Bridgeport on January 11, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Rosalie Kernosek Samsel. She was a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Church and a member of the Ladies Senior Guild. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul M. Chormanski, Sr., a son, David Chormanski, three sisters, Sister Mary Ancilla, Rose Andrechak and Clara Cooper, two brothers, Joseph and Anthony Samsel. Survivors include her children, Laurie Ann Bimmler of Bethlehem, Paul M. Chormanski Jr. and his wife Sharon of Trumbull and Michael J. Chormanski and his wife Donna of Shelton, a brother Stephen Samsel of Fairfield, two sisters, Dolores Micinilio of Bridgeport and Sister Mary Rayneld of Hamburg, New York, twelve grandchildren, Lynn Baker, Emil Bimmler, Sandra Taylor, Lisa Chormanski, Craig Chormanski, Michelle Wieler, Jason Chormanski, Nicole Lyson, Harley Chormanski, David Chormanski, Ashley Chormanski and Eric Bimmler as well as 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Donations Information In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of ones choice.
