Obituary of Anna P. Cennamo

Anna P. Cennamo, age 84, of Trumbull, a retired insurance supervisor for General Electric, died on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at her residence. Born in Bridgeport on February 19, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Anna Prokop Vitkowski, and was a Trumbull resident over 50 years.

She was a graduate of the St. John Commercial School and Warren Harding High School. Mrs. Cennamo will be fondly remembered as a generous and caring person to all of her family. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and traveling with her husband.

She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Louis (Luigi) F. Cennamo, brothers, Aloysius, Vincent, Joseph and John Vitkowski and sisters, Jean Canfield, Rita Onze and Joan LaBarba.

Survivors include two sisters, Theresa Parker of Trumbull and Helen Spadolino and her husband Joseph of Stratford as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to her devoted care giver Anna Lupinska. 

Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m.
