Obituary of Marie Cavalleri

Retired Co- Owner and Operator of M & J Trucking and Fuel Oil Marie Ferrando Cavalleri, age 84, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Cavalleri, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011 in St. Marys Hospital, Waterbury. Born in Bridgeport on April 12, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Maria Silvester Ferrando. Along with her late husband, she was the retired co- owner and operator of M & J Trucking and Fuel Oil. She was an avid bingo player and volunteered coordinating many area bingo events and enjoyed trips to the casino. Survivors include two sisters, Carmella Sideleau of Shelton and Susan Smith of Bridgeport, her loving niece and caregiver of 35 years, Diana Torre and her fiance Thomas Keiser of Trumbull, and several additional nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Anthony Ferrando and Joseph Ferrando and a sister, Yolanda Torre. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
