Obituary of Angela Cavalier

Resident of Trumbull Angela Raffio Cavalier, age 93, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Joseph Cavalier, died on Monday, April 18, 2011 in Ludlowe Health Care Center, Fairfield. Born in New York City on August 11, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine Ciuffreda Raffio. She was a retired sales clerk for Reads Department Store and also enjoyed sewing. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, she will be sadly missed. Angela always put the needs of her family before her own, she made sure everyone was always together for holidays and special occasions. In addition to her loving husband, Joseph of 68 years, survivors include her son, Robert Cavalier of Middletown, a grandson, Ronald Cavalier, two sisters, Phyllis Osborne and Ann Murcko and her husband Stephen, a brother-in-law, Jake Cavalier, all of Trumbull, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two sons, Raymond and Ronald Cavalier. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Ludlowe for the dedicated and compassionate care that they gave Angela. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
