Obituary of Pamela Cassells
October 28, 2008 Resident of Southbury
Pamela Cooper Cassells, of Southbury and formerly of Trumbull, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 surrounded by her loving family at her residence. A daughter of the late William and Gladys Fogo Cooper, she was raised in Stratford and was a member of the Bunnell High School Class of 1963. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Christine Cassells. Survivors include her beloved husband of 31 years, Sean Cassells, two loving children, James Cassells of Southbury and Maura Cassells of New York, a sister, Patricia Hay and her husband Edward of South Carolina, brother and sisters in law, Thomas Cassells, Marion and Michael Fitzgerald, and Sister Frances Cassells all of Ireland, as well as Annie and Patrick Malanaphy of England. In addition, she is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut for their care and compassion during this difficult time. Friends can greet the family at a memorial gathering celebrating her life on Sunday, November 2, 2008 from 2-6 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A prayer service will take place on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
