Obituary of Isabella Fenski

Resident of Trumbull Isabella Wightman Fenski, age 82, of Trumbull, a retired unit secretary for the Bridgeport Hospital Emergency Room for over 30 years, died on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland on April 9, 1925, she was a daughter of the late James and Helen Munce Wightman. She came to Bridgeport in 1953 and was a resident for many years before moving to Trumbull. She was a member of the Summerfield United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and was active in many other church functions. She also volunteered with the after school literacy program in Bridgeport. She was pre-deceased by her husband Arthur Fenski, a brother, James Wightman and a sister, Ellen Runcie. She will be sadly missed by her family and the many friends in the community whom she touched. Survivors include a son Jim Fenski of Milford, four daughters, Helen Esposito and her husband Anthony of Monroe, Linda Ardito of Trumbull, Pauline Hoeflich and her husband Kirk of Branford and June Newton and her husband Brian of Shelton, a sister, Betty Christie of Scotland, 10 grandchildren, Laurie, Lisa, Heather, Kristen, Eric, Gretchen, Evan, Rachel, Lauren and Brian, six great grandchildren, Abigail, Emily, Anni, Molly, Brody and Jacob as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Summerfield United Methodist Church, 110 Clermont Ave., Bridgeport.
