Albert Raymond Carey, age 54, of Stratford, loving husband of Ellen Scerba-Carey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. A graduate of Bullard Havens Technical School Class of 1975, Al was a senior composite worker at Sikorsky Aircraft with 30 years of dedicated service. Throughout his battle never once did he complain about his condition. He was a strong willed person who cared deeply about his wife, children and grandchildren. His strong will and love will continue to live on through his family and friends. Albert will be deeply missed.

He was predeceased by a sister Marguerite Carey.
