Obituary of Pasqualino D. Carbone

Stratford Resident Pasqualino (Patsy) D. Carbone, age 89, of Stratford, a retired machinist for the Bullard Co. and a master plumber, died on Monday April 23, 2007 at Lord Chamberlain Health Care, Stratford. Born on December 7, 1917 in Bridgeport, he was a son of the late Joseph and Diana Iannotti Carbone, and was a WWll US Navy veteran who participated in the Normandy Invasion. Patsy played semi professional basketball during the late 1930s in the Bridgeport area; he was an avid Yankees fan and a sports enthusiast. He was predeceased by his son, Joseph Carbone. Survivors include his beloved wife of 64 years, Constance L. Mazzacca Carbone, a son Daniel V. Carbone of Alameda, CA, two daughters, Marilyn Grosner and her husband, Daniel of Stratford and Donna Lichtenfeld and her husband Philip of West Lake Village, CA, four beloved grandchildren, Debbie Grosner, Jeffrey Grosner (Rebecca), Jennifer Johnson (Bret) and Alessandra Lichtenfeld and two cherished great grandchildren, Demetri and Althea and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
