Obituary of Constance L. Carbone

Stratford Resident Constance (Connie) Lucy Mazzacca Carbone, age 91, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Pasqualino (Patsy) D. Carbone, died on Friday, March 18, 2011 at St. Vincents Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 12, 1919 in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Nuccio Mazzacca. She was pre-deceased by a son, Joseph Carbone. Survivors include her loving children, a son Daniel V. Carbone of Alameda, CA, two daughters, Marilyn Grosner and her husband Daniel of Stratford and Donna Lichtenfeld of Westlake Village, CA, four beloved grandchildren, Debbie Grosner, Jeffrey Grosner and his wife Rebecca, Jennifer Johnson and her husband Bret and Alessandra Lichtenfeld, three cherished great grandchildren, Demetri, Althea and Twyla, a special niece, Patti Jean as well as several additional nieces and nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff of Lord Chamberlain Health Care, Stratford for their dedicated and compassionate care of Shimmy in her time of need. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
