Obituary of Mary G. Caputo

Trumbull Resident Mary G. Caputo, age 70, of Trumbull, a retired executive secretary for Norden Systems, died on Sunday, March 25, 2007 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on September 23,1936, she was a daughter of the late Donato and Mary Braca Gagliardi. She was a Trumbull resident for over 39 years and was an avid gardener. Mary took great pride in her three granddaughters. Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, John Caputo, four daughters, Karen DeCarolis of Trumbull, Dana Caputo-Varkel and her husband Ernest of California, Laura Stilson and her husband Robert of Oxford, Jennifer Caputo and her fiance Robert Nicoletti of Southbury, three grandchildren, Jessica DeCarolis, Marcea and Bobbie Stilson, a sister, Grace Montanaro of Southbury, a step-sister, Anna Coppini of New York and a step-brother, Mario DOnofrio of Trumbull, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Theresa, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown.
