Obituary of Jessie F. Capuano

Lifelong resident of Bridgeport Jessie Fucci Capuano, age 90, died on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at Lord Chamberlain Health Care. Born in Bridgeport on April 14, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Concetta Rizzi Fucci. A lifelong Bridgeport resident, she was a retired employee of the City of Bridgeport Board of Education. Jessie was a volunteer for the RSVP of Eastern Fairfield County, the Democratic Party, the Eisenhower Senior Center in Bridgeport and the Augustana Seniors. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony Capuano, four brothers, Alfred, Joseph, Jerry and Alex Fucci and two sisters, Eleanor Fucci Fino and Marie Fucci Ruedemann. Survivors include several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
