Obituary of Alfred M. Capozziello

Alfred M. Lucky Capozziello Jr., age 84, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Nelly Urena Capozziello, passed away on New Years Day 2014 in St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on October 4, 1929, he was a son of the late Alfred M. Capozziello Sr. and Mary Rich Capozziello. He worked as a crane operator in the family business of Capozziello Brothers Building and Wrecking Company. Alfred enjoyed classic movies and westerns and listening to Italian music. He also found great enjoyment following the horses. In his younger years, he enjoyed boxing while in the Army. He was very proud to have appeared on the Modern Marvels television show on the History Channel. He loved life and his family dearly and put them first above all else. In addition to his wife Nelly, survivors include a son, Alfred Capozziello III, a daughter, Sarah Urena Capozziello, both of Bridgeport. He is also survived by sons, Gregory, Michael and Danny Capozziello and daughters, Joanne and Sandra Capozziello, his sister, Angela Zilli, his brothers, Matty, Gino, Russell, Lenny, Tommy, Dennis, Kenny and Marshall, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Alfred Capozziello, his sister, Dolores Kistner, and his brothers, Christy, John, Vinny and Gary. Funeral Information All Services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
