Obituary of Evelyn A. Capozzi

CAPOZZI- Evelyn Ianniello Capozzi, age 91, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Daniel Capozzi, was born into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on March 22, 1921, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose Pillo Ianniello. Mrs. Capozzi was a devoted parishioner of Holy Rosary Church and was a past officer and active member of the Unico Ladies. In addition to her husband Daniel, survivors include her son, Daniel Capozzi of Bridgeport, son-in-law, Anthony Drew of Trumbull, three grandchildren, Pamela Drew, Daniel Drew and David Drew and Lynn, as well as several nieces, nephews, grand nephews and nieces and a great grand niece . She was pre-deceased by her daughter, June Drew, two brothers, Daniel and Joseph Ianniello and two sisters, Antoinette Machia and Mary Fico. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Rosary Church, 365 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Friends can greet the family at the church on Thursday morning after 9:00 a.m. until the Mass time. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There are no calling hours.
