Obituary of Sally M. Cannone

Sally M. Cannone, age 81, of Bridgeport, died on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born on September 22, 1924 in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Betty Gordon Mead. Mrs. Cannone retired as a nurses aid at the former Dinan Memorial Center of Bridgeport with over 20 years of service.

She was predeceased by her husband, James E. Cannone, two brothers, Gordon and Kenneth Mead, and a sister, Dorothy Pollack.

Survivors included two sons, Robert Cannone and his wife Mary Lee of Newtown and Richard Cannone and his wife Susan of Bridgeport, a daughter, Michele Cannone of Bridgeport, a brother, Russell Mead and his wife Winnie and a sister, Audrey Pollack, all of Florida, sister in law, Mena Mead of Fairfield, devoted family friend who she treated like a son, John DiBartolomeo of New York City, five grandchildren, Brian, Richard, Bret, Jamie and Patsy, two great grandchildren, Ryan and Evan, and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in St Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
