Obituary of Mary A. Zervos

Mary Moustakas Zervos, age 83, of Monroe, beloved wife of the late Antonios Dimitrios Zervos, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013 in Cambridge Manor, Fairfield. She was born in Paleopolis, Andros, Greece on March 14, 1930 and married her grammar school sweetheart, Antonios in December 1951. They were married for 59 years, emigrating to the U. S. in August of 1966 and have been residents of Monroe, Connecticut. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. She was deeply devoted to her church and family. She was a kind, gentle and loving woman. Survivors include a daughter, Katerina and son-in-law Leonidas Pertesis, a son Demetri and daughter-in-law Helen Zervos, six grandchildren, Yianni and his wife Lourdes, Anthony and Maria Pertesis, Anthony Zervos and his fiance Jessica Toth, Yianni and Leonardo Zervos, two great grandchildren, Leonidas and Francisco Pertesis and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. directly in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Park Ave., Bridgeport with the Rev. Andreas Vithoulkas officiating. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
