Obituary of Nancy L. Young

Nancy L. Young, age 65, of Trumbull, died peacefully on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at her home. Born in Bridgeport on September 2, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Louise Greenberger. Nancy worked as a Paraprofessional for the City of Bridgeport Board of Education, retiring in 2009. She was an extremely talented dressmaker, and spent many years designing and altering creations for her ladies. She also volunteered at Tashua School, using her artistic abilities to keep the halls decorated festively for every season, in addition to working in the library while her children were students. Survivors include two loving daughters, Sherrie Weller and her husband Norman of Trumbull and Richele Jansen and her husband Wayne of Orange; grandchildren Devin Weller and his wife Trish of Springfield, VA, Brianna Weller and Kaylin Weller of Trumbull, and Corina Jansen of Orange. She is also survived by several cherished aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Information Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
