Obituary of Phyllis M. Yannelli

Phyllis (Fazio) Yannelli, age 86, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. Phyllis was born on October 24, 1926 in Danbury, CT, the daughter of the late Joseph and Raphaella (Grandinetti) Fazio. She resided in Stratford for several years, moved to Monroe and again back to Stratford for the last year. Phyllis worked as a secretary at Columbia Records where she met the love of her life, Frank Yannelli, who she was married to for 63 years. She treasured him every day of her life. Phyllis devoted her life to making her family happy. She was a fantastic cook and baker. She loved the dinners and lunches with her St. Jude family. She was a devoted mother, wife and friend. Her daughter Andrea passed many years ago and now joins her with loving arms. Phyllis lived every day to the fullest and loved her family and friends. Along with her loving husband who treasured every moment they had together, she leaves behind a loving and devoted daughter, Donna Booker and her husband Walter, who referred to her as Phyllie Girl, a brother, Tony Fazio and his wife Arlene, a grandson, Jack Branco and his wife Nicole, their children, Heather, Jack and Carrie, two granddaughters, Melissa Booker and her husband Jason, their children, Isaiah, Nevaeh and Jay-Jay, and Heather Lucibello and her husband Matthew and their daughter, Sophie. She also leaves behind a host of family and friends. Special thanks to the St. Jude Parish Family for all their caring and true love and friendship. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 12 noon in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
