Obituary of William S. Wells
U. S. Army Veteran of World War II
William S. Wells, age 86, of Trumbull, formerly of College Point, NY, died on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born in Kelty, Scotland on October 8, 1922, he was the son of the late Annie Laurie and Henry Wells. William served in the U.S. Army during World War II, he was a proud member of the Whitestone VFW Post #4787 and a long time parishioner of the North Presbyterian Church of Flushing, NY. Survivors include his beloved wife Ada F. Wells of Trumbull, two daughters, Sandra Lynch and her husband Jerry of Trumbull and Joyce Wilson and her husband Thomas of Chatham, NJ, six grandchildren, Ryan, Annie Laurie and Jennifer Lynch and Charlotte, James, and Molly Wilson. Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 9 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will full military honors will follow in Pinelawn Cemetery, Babylon, NY. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Donations Information
