Obituary of Robert James Ward

Loving Husband, Father, Brother & Uncle Robert James Ward, age 63, of Trumbull, a Certified Public Accountant for United Rentals of Greenwich, died on Monday, May 12, 2008 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in New York, New York on July 9, 1944, he was a son of the late James F. and Marguerite Murphy Ward. A U. S. Army Veteran, he was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church, a member of the Board of Directors at Stern Village and a former member of the Pinewood Lake Association. He was also a coach, member and referee for the AYSO and Trumbull United Soccer. Survivors include his beloved wife of 36 years, Barbara Ann Pawlowski Ward, three devoted children, Aileen Ward and her fiance, Paul Fisher of California, Katherine Ward of New York and Robert Ward Jr. and his wife Meghan of Pennsvlvania, three brothers, Richard Ward and his wife Jane of Michigan, Kevin Ward and his wife Ruth of New Jersey and Donald Ward and his wife Kyle of Virginia, one sister, Patricia Feaver and her husband Robert of Long Island, New York and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Interment with military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. A Memorial Gathering celebrating his life will take place on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
