Obituary of Richard P. Vitucci

Richard P. Vitucci Sr., age 73, of Darien, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Norwalk Hospital following a short illness. Richard was born in Bronxville, NY on April 28, 1940, the son of the late Domenic and Sue (Rosin) Vitucci and grew up in Mt. Vernon, NY before moving to Darien. He graduated from Edison High School and received his Bachelors Degree in Business from Pace University. He retired from General Foods after 29 years of service. Richard was proud to serve his country as a U. S. Air Force Reservist for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, antique cars, playing the organ and listening to his favorite music. He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Tina Marie Klem. Richard is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marie (Ceraldi) Vitucci, a son, Richard Vitucci Jr. and his wife Katherine of Norwalk, son-in-law, Laurence Klem of Trumbull, four grandsons, Max and Miles Vitucci and Adam and Kyle Klem. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull.
