Obituary of Rocco F. Baldino

Rocco F. Baldino, age 78, of Monroe, a retired plumber for Local #777, died on Monday, July 18, 2005 in St. Josephs Manor. Born in Bridgeport on October 25, 1926, he was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Baldino graduated from Harding High School and attended the Art Students League, New York. He was an avid beer can collector and also enjoyed golfing and gardening. He had been a resident of Trumbull for 45 years before recently moving to Monroe.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Marie DeSalle Baldino, two sons, Neil F. Baldino and his wife, Iris of Newtown and Mark J. Baldino and his wife, Mary of South Carolina, a sister, Janet Soltis of Stratford, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Patricia and Patsy Pagliarulo of Trumbull, his three loving grandchildren, Cole, Tess and Mark as well as many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Duda and the nurses and staff of 7 East at St. Vincent Medical Center for their loving care of Rocco. 

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
