Obituary of James Frank Velgot

James Frank Velgot, age 72, of Milford, a retired retail clerk, died on Monday, January 15, 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in McAdoo, Pennsylvania on June 24, 1934, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna Burcin Velgot and a U. S. Army veteran. An avid sports fan and athlete, he was a member of the Stratford and Bridgeport Old Timers Associations, the Warren Harding High School class of 1953 Reunion Committee and of several area breakfast clubs.

Survivors include his beloved daughter, Kim-Marie DellAquila and her husband, Carmine and grandsons, all of Milford, his sister, Kathleen DeMartino of Florida, his son, James Velgot and numerous dear relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Milford. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Milford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
