Obituary of Natalie L. Urbano

Resident of Shelton Natalie (Lee) Pecoraino Urbano, age 92, of Shelton, a retired retail sales associate for Gimbels and Howlands, died peacefully on Monday, November 2, 2009 in Maefair Health Care Center. Born in Austria on March 7, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Anna Grill Pecoraino. Mrs. Urbano enjoyed music, reading and cooking, but most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family. She was pre-deceased by her husband Frank S. Urbano Sr., two brothers Bruno and Victor Pecoraino, two sisters Nelly Lempicki and Mary Parker. Survivors include her children, Mary Ann and Robert Bertig Sr. of Shelton and Frank and Roz Urbano of Fairfield, a brother, John Pecoraino of NJ, cherished grandchildren Robert Bertig Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Florida, Leigh Ann McCabe and her husband Matthew of Trumbull, Leah Smith and her husband Eric of Orange and Keri Garofalo and her husband Jeffrey of Seymour, cherished great grandchildren, Ryan and Daniel McCabe, Emily Kulikowski and Anthony Garofalo, Meghan and Maya Bertig, Zoe, Caitlyn and Cassidy Smith, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to her special aides at home and the staff at Maefair Health Care Center. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church, Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
