Obituary of Paul C. Truini

U.S. Army Veteran Paul C. Truini, Sr., age 78, of Shelton, loving husband of Nancy Truini, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Griffin Hospital. Born on February 10, 1933 in the Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late Paul Truini and Emma (Petrerio) Truini. Paul served proudly in the United States Army. He was employed at Stop & Shop as a deli manager for 35+ years and was also the proud member of the UFCW Local 371 where he held the position of Vice President on the Executive Board. In addition to the love of his life, his wife, Nancy of 48 years, survivors include a daughter, Millicent (Truini) Iacono and her husband Fiore Iacono of Trumbull; a son, Paul J. Truini and his wife Donna (Nyszik) Truini of Oxford and the apples of his eyes and heart 4 grandchildren, Sofia Rose, Olivia Marie, Tyler Paul and Dylan James and a sister, Yolanda (Truini) Patti. He is predeceased by his brothers Anthony and Joseph and his sister; Ann. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church, Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
