Obituary of Elizabeth Trotta

Trumbull Resident TROTTA Elizabeth Sperandeo Trotta, age 95, of Trumbull, a home maker and retired seamstress for the Commercial Shirt Co., died on Friday, August 27, 2010 at her residence. Born in Shelton on January 11, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette DiPasquale Sperandeo. Mrs. Trotta was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and took great pride in the curtains, drapes and table tops she created. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 70 years, Angelo Charles Trotta, two sons, Thomas Trotta and Charles Trotta, a grandson, Charles Trotta, two brothers, Thomas and Angelo Sperandeo and a sister, Mary Liquigli. Survivors include her two daughters-in-law, Joanne Trotta of Florida and Barbara Trotta of Trumbull, six grandchildren, Joseph Trotta and his wife Kim, Thomas Trotta Jr. and his wife Sandra, Mark Trotta and his wife Kimberly, Michael Trotta and his wife Carol, Robert Trotta and his wife Carolynn and Liza DiSisto and her husband Daniel, 14 great grandchildren, Joey, Tyler, Angelo, Sophie, Anthony, Mark Jr. and his wife Brunella, Nicholas, Jake, Mike Jr., Jacquelyn, Philip, Lauren, Daniel and Matthew and two great great grandchildren Grace and Evan and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m.
