Obituary of Bertha Sophie Trojanowski

Fairfield Resident Bertha Sophie Trojanowski, 88, of Fairfield, beloved wife of Stanley Trojanowski of 69 years, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. Vincents Medical Center after a brief illness. Mrs. Trojanowski was born March 16, 1924 in Southold, NY to the late Charles and Sophie Krukoski. She worked many years in the Bridgeport Brass purchasing department before retiring as a purchasing agent from Lord Corporation. In addition to her husband, Bertha is survived by her loving son Robert Trojanowski and his wife Celeste Campos of Shelton; 3 beloved granddaughters RobinLynn Farrar of Stratford, Lea Orr and her husband Matthew of Oceanside, CA and Kelly Franzese and her husband Michael of Shelton; 2 cherished great-grandchildren, Ataliyah Farrar & Aidan Franzese. She is also survived by her brother, John Krukoski and sister, Josephine Kwiatkoski. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by brothers Vladic & Thaddeus Krukoski and sisters Gladys Fischer and Margaret Mallory. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Fairfield. Friends and relatives may call on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
