Obituary of Carrie Timpanelli
Carrie Tranquillo Timpanelli, age 90, of Trumbull, a retired assembler for Bryant Electric Co. with 25 years of service, died Saturday, August 21, 2004 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Stanislaus and Rosalie Smerglinolo Tranquillo, and was a Trumbull resident over 50years. Mrs Timpanelli was a member of the St. Theresa Seniors, the Chestnut Hill Seniors and the Trumbull Democratic Women.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Timpanelli Sr., two sisters, Josephine Mondo and Rose Canevari and three brothers, Nicholas, Frank and Anthony Tranquillo.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Timpanelli Jr and his wife Carol and Carmine Timpanelli and his wife Marie, three daughters, Mary Ann Arlio and her husband Joseph, Rose Albani and her husband Frank, and Carol Licitra and her husband John, seven grandchildren, Carol Rosamondo and her husband, Jeff, Scott Timpanelli, Gary Arlio and his wife, Sue, Mark Albani, David Albani, Karen Tartaglia and Nicole Licitra, eleven great grandchildren, Alexandra, Nicholas and Christina Rosamondo, Abbey and Joseph Albani, Alana and Brittany Tartaglia, Heather Licitra, Jack Branco, Melissa and Bryan Camara, as well as many nieces and nephews, and her two favorite pets, Franklin the dog and Jack the cat.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
