Obituary of Viola L. Tetu

Loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother Viola Paglinco Tetu age 84, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Joseph (Red) Tetu, died peacefully on Friday June 11, 2010 in St. Vincents Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on March 9, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore Paglinco and Luisa DeFrancesco Paglinco. Mrs. Tetu was a retired employee for the City of Bridgeport, with over 15 years of service, working as a Nutritionist. Proud of her Italian heritage, Viola truly had a passion for cooking and it can never be said that anyone left her home hungry. She enjoyed the simple things in life, the flowers and birds but most of all she took great pride in her love, care and devotion she had for her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. In addition to her beloved husband of 60 years, Joseph, survivors include her four loving children, Joey Tetu and his wife Pamela of GA, Gail Gibb and her husband Donald of Bethel, Gary Tetu and his wife Liz and Dino Tetu and his wife Suzana all of Trumbull, nine cherished grandchildren, Desiree, Cassandra, Evette, Eric and his wife Jaylene, Vanessa, Joey, Jenna, Nicholas and Olivia, one great granddaughter, Sierra, one brother, Johnny Paglinco of Bridgeport, a sister, Virginia Piccolo of Florida as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Raymond, Joseph, Armand and Daniel Paglinco and five sisters, Gloria Paglinco, Edith Paglinco, Lena Pagliuca, Winnie Eisen and Rose Marie Wilson. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the 6th floor nursing staff of St. Vincents, Hospice and our dear friend Dr. Pasquale Masone for their wonderful and never ending care. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday June 15, 2010 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Monica Mausoluem, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
