Obituary of Jean Testani

Jean Quartarone Testani, age 83, of Trumbull, entered in rest on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in St. Josephs Manor. She was pre-deceased by her devoted husband of more than 53 years, Joseph A. Testani. Born in White Plains, New York on April 11, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Santo Quartarone and Jennie Greco Quartarone Delbenzo.

She graduated from Central High School in 1943 and was married on October 1, 1949 in St. Raphael Church, Bridgeport. She was an employee of SNET before her marriage. An extremely loving and devoted mother to her only child, Robert, she cherished him and always thought of him first. Jean will be sadly missed by her loving son, Robert Testani and his friend Barbara Duban of Trumbull.

She is survived by sisters-in-law, Mary Quartarone of Hollywood, FL, Connie Testani Piccioli of Trumbull, brothers-in-law, Albert Testani and his wife Virginia of Bridgeport, Harry Testani and his wife Rosemarie of Trumbull, Donald Testani and his wife Connie of Huntington, Richard Testani and his wife Michele of Monroe and Joseph Greco of Shelton. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Frank Quartarone and sister-in-law Anna Testani Greco. In addition, she is also survived by her loving aunt Rose Notch of White Plains, NY, her loving cousins Mario and Ann Federici of Weston, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will take place on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends and relatives may call on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
