Obituary of Julian Stanley Terlaga

Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather Julian S. Terlaga, age 77, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Josephine Dedinsky Terlaga, died on Monday, May 31, 2010 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Shelton on November 1, 1932, he was a son of the late John and Julia Terlaga and was a U. S. Army Signal Corp. veteran of the Korean War. Julian was a graduate of the Warren Harding High School Class of 1950, where he also served on the reunion committee, and Norwalk State Technical College. He was a retired employee of the Pitney Bowes Corp. and was formerly employed by Capitol Records and Western Electric. A Trumbull resident since 1959, Mr. Terlaga was proud to live in the house that he had built. He was a volunteer driver for the American Cancer Society for 10 years and enjoyed tracing genealogy and traveling. Julian also enjoyed good food and a glass of wine, but his true love and passion was spending time with his family. In addition to his beloved wife of 57 years, Josephine, survivors include three children, a son, Richard Terlaga of Trumbull, two daughters, Sharron Steere and her husband Cliff of Trumbull and Jill Hodge and her husband Chris of Newtown, four cherished grandchildren, Timothy, Julia, Sara and Elizabeth, a brother Ted Terlaga of Danbury and a sister Anne Curry of Stratford as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
