Obituary of Catherine E. Taylor

Catherine E. Taylor, age 77, of Hamden passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Life Choice Hospice of Hamden at Arden House. She was the beloved wife of Edward J. Taylor. Born in Hamden, on May 8, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Catherine Hines Early. Catherine had been employed by the Buckingham Routh Co., where she had worked as a bookkeeper before her retirement with over 40 years of dedicated service. She had also found great enjoyment traveling extensively with her husband Ed. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her beloved husband of 16 years, Edward, other survivors include her step children, Thomas J. Taylor and his wife Cathleen of Trumbull, Cathleen Ford of New Haven and Deborah Evarts of FL. She was also survived by five step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Catherine was predeceased by her four brothers. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February, 27, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
