Obituary of Georgianna Tavella

Loving Mother and Grandmother Georgianna Assenza Tavella, age 89, formerly of Trumbull, a retired employee of Senese Manufacturing Co., died on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on October 18, 1920, she was a Trumbull resident for many years before moving to Plantsville. Georgianna was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. She was pre-deceased by her husband John Tavella. Survivors include a son, John J. Tavella and his wife Nadia of Trumbull, a daughter, Rosemary Bieler and her husband Bruce of Plantsville, three grandchildren, John D. Tavella, Jeffrey Bieler and Alyson Welch and her husband Jonathan as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
