Obituary of Ronald J. Swalina

Ronald J. Swalina, age 78, of Stratford, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 23, 2013 in St. Joseph Manor, Trumbull. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on March 2, 1935, he was a son of the late Stanley and Mary Waskiewicz Swalina and was a longtime resident of Stratford. Before his retirement Ronald was employed at Bridgeport Hospital with over 30 years of dedicated service. Survivors include two sisters, Gladys M. Scott and her husband Frank of Trumbull, Sharon A. Crockett of Old Saybrook; a niece, Kathryn E. Crockett, of Guilford and three nephews: Charles D. Feyk and his wife Liza of Trumbull; Craig T. Feyk and his wife Julie of Seattle, WA; David A. Crockett and his wife Jackie of Naugatuck as well as four great nieces. He was predeceased by a nephew, Christopher P. Feyk. Funeral Information All funeral services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Donations Information Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
