Obituary of Mary W. Swalina

Stratford Resident Mary Waskiewicz Swalina, age 93, of Stratford, died peacefully on Tuesday February 5, 2008, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on October 14, 1914 she was a daughter of the late George and Caroline Rymar Waskiewicz. Mrs. Swalina was a retired supervisor for the American Fabrics Co. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley S. Swalina, a grandson Huck Paul Feyk, five bothers and two sisters. Survivors include her three children, Gladys M. Feyk of Shelton, Ronald J. Swalina of Trumbull and Sharon A. Crockett of Branford, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four sisters and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors and the 5th floor staff at St. Josephs Manor for all of their care and compassion. Funeral Information All services were private. Interment took place in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
